Dear Friends,
Cash gifting activities are becoming much more popular than ever. Take a look at me...I have been practicing interior design for the past 25 years and here I am...now an online marketing expert and cash gifting mentor!!! I receive cash gifts from people and train them to do what I am doing. It is as simple as that.
One of the biggest issues that I face as a cash gifting mentor is that whenever I mention cash gifting to someone who I know, they automatically assume it is illegal, unethical or "shady". Most people never even heard of the concept of cash gifting yet they still automatically assume the worst.
It is good to be skeptical so I totally understand the concerns. These types of programs are often associated with unethical behavior, fraudulent schemes in which many people lost lots of money. The problem with these types of money generating systems is that they all copy, to some degree, the complicated payout structures of direct sales companies, thus creating potential for unethical schemes. Many people in these types of programs do take advantage of the people who join them. They use cash leveraging in order to receive more money for them, while the people under them are being scammed.
This is why I joined a No 1 up cash gifting program. This particular no 1 up system practices true gifting. There are no pass-ups or cash residuals. Every person who joins is immediately qualified to receive gifts on the levels in which they have joined. The people who want to be unethical or greedy do not join this type of program because they want the cash residuals, they like that aspect. No 1 up cash gifting is a fantastic concept and has helped many people to attain financial freedom, dig themselves out of dept, and have a better quality of life.
Gifting of cash is a legal and ethical activity if you follow the law of true giving and receiving. Do you think that I would be doing this if it were illegal or shady? However, not all cash gifting activities are legal in their structure, nor are all people ethical in their practices. That does not mean you should not get involved in a cash gifting program, you just need to educate yourself so you'll be able to choose the best program. I am here to tell you...the best program concept ever is the true no 1 up system.
To put the legal and ethical misconceptions into perspective for you, here are some of the typical ways cash gifting has been practiced in our society:
• What makes Cash Gifting legal, as it is practiced today is the IRS Tax Code. The tax code itself legalizes cash gifting and is there for a reason. By definition, "Cash Gifting" is the act of privately or publicly giving another person or an entity a declared sum of cash and to give it freely without coercion or consideration. Cash Gifting is not a loan or a payment for goods or services. It is a private act of Charity. The amount that is given or received can vary, but to be tax exempt it cannot exceed $12,000 (per IRS Tax Code Title 29 and Publication 950, effective January 1, 2006, to any one person within 1 calendar year. Check out the section of the tax code that covers gifting: http://www.irs.gov/publications/p950/ar02.html
• Giving cash gifts to family members, sometimes even in very large amounts, occurs over and over. We feel fine giving this money because we know these people well. The gift might be put towards a deposit on a house, buying a business, or paying for a wedding. These are all accepted as very good reasons for cash gifts to pass between family members. No one is saying “scam”! It is family after all.
• Many of us willingly give money to charities that we support either by mail or directly to total strangers who are collecting for charity. We have done this without question. The majority of the money is used for administration costs, advertising, traveling, etc. Yet no one is screaming "scam"! It is charity after all!
• The Lottery: Many of us from time to time have purchased lottery tickets hoping to have chosen the winning numbers. We do this knowing the odds are stacked against our winning since there can only be one first prizewinner. Who do you think pays the winner…we do via all those millions of tickets that were sold. Our country’s government runs many of these Lotteries, so we accept that they are "legal", "ethical". Again, no one screams "scam"!
• Many people give cash gifts for birthdays, holidays, graduations etc. There are no conditions on how it is spent. No one ever said this practice of cash gifting was not ethical and legal.
So you see, it is not illegal for us to give our own cash to whomever we wish, whether we know them or not. We do not need to receive a product when we choose to give cash. In addition, it will never be illegal for us to do whatever we wish with our own cash! Cash gifting laws were created for the wealthy.
True ethical and legal cash gifting is about people helping each other. The concept of passing up (cash leveraging) has exploited the practice of cash gifting. Do your due diligence to understand the structure of the individual programs.
Whatever decision you make about whether or not to become involved in any cash gifting program, I wish you success. The only way that Cash Gifting should be done, is in the best interest of all that are involved. The only way to TRULY accomplish this is through a true No 1up Cash Gifting program.
